The quality of shooting outdoors is very good.But when one inside, and you do not have much light in the windows then pick up noise from the camera starts. What I did is pick up a headband flash light and took the band around the camera to attach the light.Add that extra helping hand of the light. You can change some gain and aperture settings.But not enough, as for camera can do. I do love the small size of the camera..
